Country music has seen a great resurgence in popularity in recent years, with the likes of The Shires, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum bringing their own contemporary style to the genre. These artists, together with the hit US TV show Nashville, has introduced country to a huge new, young audience.
A Country Night in Nashville recreates the scene of a buzzing Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville, perfectly capturing the energy and atmosphere of an evening in the home of country music. Raise your flags, warm up those voices, and join us for one of the most anticipated nights in the Majestic calendar as our much-loved Last Night of the Proms returns for its sixth spectacular year.
A firm audience favourite and the perfect way to launch our autumn and winter season, this electrifying evening is produced entirely in-house by our exceptional creative team. Featuring the full force of the Northern Musical Theatre Orchestra & Chorus, alongside a dazzling lineup of guest vocalists, it’s a true celebration of world-class talent right here at the Majestic.
This year’s programme is bigger, bolder, and more thrilling than ever — packed with iconic film scores, show-stopping West End and Broadway hits, and a few surprises guaranteed to bring the house down. And of course, no Proms night would be complete without the legendary finale… expect flag-waving, spine-tingling moments, and a full-throated singalong to Land of Hope and Glory, Rule, Britannia!, and Jerusalem. (Yes — we expect you to join in.)
With over 100 performers on stage, including a magnificent 60-piece orchestra and a powerhouse company of singers, this is set to be our most ambitious Proms concert to date — a night bursting with energy, pride, and pure musical joy.

Doors will re-open at 1245, with the award ceremony commencing at 1300 finishing approximately 1600 / 1630.
